The Track Group Partner Program

Welcome to The Track Group's partner vendor program. While we have many talented staff in our organization, we frequently look to outside help to expand our technical and creative abilities for our clients. We have a strong history of working with partners and we really do view the relationship as a win-win-win where our company, our client, and our partner all benefit.

A majority of our projects are completed for the federal government. The government actually encourages teaming relationships. When we respond to proposals to perform work, we want to feature strong teaming options. To see an example of a partner capabilities sheet, click here.  We typically serve as the prime contractor and our partners serve as a sub-contractor to us. We are paid directly by our clients and you would invoice us. Sometimes you may remain as an anonymous partner and other times you will be identified as a member of the team.

This program is intended for 1099 status sub-contractors who will not an employee of our firm. As a 1099 contractor, you would not be eligible for any benefits and all taxes are your sole responsibility. To learn more about employee vs. independent contractor status click here or ask your tax accountant for details.

The following are the steps to take to become an active member of the program.

1. Complete two web surveys. First, complete general vendor survey which asks general questions about your company (or you as an individual). Once you complete the brief survey, you will see a page with links to a 2nd survey which asks specific questions about your field (meeting planning, etc.). If you are applying for proposal writing, please take this survey instead of the general one above (for proposal writers only). If you have already completed the general vendor survey and you're returning to complete a technical survey, click here.

2. Once you submit your survey, we will review your responses to determine how we might best work together. We have a very wide variety of projects and we want to match the most appropriate partner with each job.

3. If we have determined that you would be a good candidate to join our partner program, we will contact you via email or telephone to share information about our needs and your potential fit as a partner. For local candidates, we may request a face to face meeting as well (directions to our office in Alexandria VA). We may also speak with several of your references who can share their assessment of your work.

4. If we are both in agreement that working together could benefit both parties, we will ask you to provide information suitable for use in proposals and/or inclusion on our partner page of our web site. We would also ask you to complete a partner agreement form and a IRS form. USA Agreement / Non-USA and W-9 form for US partners who will be invoicing more than $600 in a year.

As new opportunities present themselves, we will speak to you about the individual projects and how you might participate. We would also want you to keep us up to date on your evolving abilities and experience so we can keep you in mind for new exciting projects.

Thanks again for your interest and we look forward to chatting with you and potentially working together in the near future!
